Meter Break Magnet Assemblies
These are the magnet assemblies incorporating Alnico V grade magnets. These are used in electro mechanical energy meters for applying breaking mechanism to the rotating aluminum disc. The magnet produces eddy currents in the rotating disc to oppose rotation. The magnets in these assemblies are secured either by aluminum die casting or glued to press tool ms components.
Application: Electro mechanical energy meters.
