Magnetic Drum Separator for Iron Separation
These magnetic drums are used for separation of coarse/fine iron particles from food, grains, chemical and pharma powder/ granular materials. The shell of the drum rotates whereas the magnetic arrangement inside the drum is stationary. The iron particles get attracted on the drum surface and are carried over by the interrupters till non magnetic zone of the drum where they get dislodged. These drums are available in different magnetic strengths. PML also provides with complete system with drum housing, hopper discharge chutes and drive. These are self cleaning systems and therefore can be used for continuous operation. PML also designs and manufactures systems with two or more drums in series for high purity output requirements. These are made as per customer's requirement.
