High Permeability Mu Metal Components
As the name suggests, it stands for producing High Permeability products. High Permeability products mainly consist of Nickel and Iron alloys including Mu-Metals. PML has established a new division called Hi-Perm. It is here where components of specialized High-Permeability Nickel alloys such as Mu-Metal are manufactured. These alloys are used for various applications such as Magnetic Shielding, transformer cores etc. PML also manufactures different components used in the Electronic energy meters such as Shunts, copper conductor.
PML specialty lies in customized products suited as per the best needs of the customer. PML is capable of manufacturing all types of drawing and permeability requirements. PML facilities include in house tool room for stamping and punching as well as Hydrogen Annealing facilities.
Application
In the past few years the importance of Soft magnetic alloys or HI-perm Products has grown very rapidly, because of technological advances in the Electronic Industry and the ever increasing need of more compact and powerful instruments. Magnetic shielding also finds its importance more than ever before. This is because of the use of Integrated circuits in most of the applications PML uses high permeability Nickel, Iron and Molybdenum alloys including Mu-Metals. Depending on the type of application we have materials with different nickel content.
